RETURNS & REPLACEMENT POLICY
For Shipments within India Region, before you decide to return a product of Spiticart, please take a moment to understand how our products are made. All our products are handcrafted by traditional rural artisans who have been making the products by their hand using the method that their ancestors taught them. Our products are neither machine-made nor mass produced.
This results in each product being unique and slightly different from each other. Let us not think of slight roughness, mild shape variations, imperfections or lack of aesthetic finish as a defect. This is the beauty of handmade products and also confirms the authenticity that they are not machine-made. Spiticart stands behind the quality of our products. We request you to kindly read the instruction leaflet carefully before first use. If any pre-cautions/care are not followed during usage (some products have certain precautions in the first 10-15uses), any replacement/refund claims will not be entertained.
We request you to check the product details thoroughly before buying any product.
Returns/replacements are applicable only in the unlikely event that your Spiticart products arrive damaged during transit.
- We have a 3-day return policy, which means you have 3 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
- You must email us at support@spiticart.com about any damaged items within 3 days of receiving your order and also send us a picture of the damaged item. Your email should contain the following:
- Picture of the product in case of damage
- mention your order number in the subject line
- mention in the email if you wish a refund or exchange or credit coupon for the product.
- mention reason for return (eg: item damaged etc)
- Please note that we would not entertain exchange of marble products for different sizes as return pick up generally results in damage of these products. We will only process replacement/ refund if the shipped product is damaged during transit.
- We will get back to you within 7 working days of receiving the complaint. Authorisation for return for the product will be provided after the query has been found valid by our quality team. The sole decision of considering the validity of the query after hearing it from the customer lies with the quality team.
- In case you do not raise a returns claim through email within the prescribed time you shall not be eligible for a return.
- We aim to process refund or exchange for products in about 10-12 working days. If you have any questions about the above, feel free to reach out to Spiticart at support@spiticart.com
- We will initiate the refund /exchange after we receive the item and it has gone through the necessary quality checks.
- If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
- Upon authorisation of return of damaged product, Spiticart will provide a full refund for the damaged product or you could exchange the damaged product for a fresh product or you can opt for credit coupon for future purchases.
- Refund for Cash on Delivery orders will be only through Store credit. Returns of undamaged products are usually not entertained. Different products have different return policies. Please read the instructions carefully before initiating the return. You can always contact us for any return question at support@spiticart.com.
Return process
- Shantiniketan bags Return policy: Every product is checked thoroughly before shipping. In spite of this if a damaged product is delivered, it is returnable within the specified window. The products should not be used, it should be package with the labels, bills and should be return in the same form as it was delivered. Used products, packing tampered items will not be suitable for return.
- Agra Marbles items return policy: Any marble items which is damaged during shipping, i.e damaged product is delivered, then the product is eligible for return. Used product or damaged products due to improper handling is not eligible for return. As soon as the product is delivered, take a pic if it delivered in damaged form and share the pics along with return form to us. We will analysis and initiate return.
- Cast Iron products return policy: Please check the dimensions, uses and conditions before placing the order. Damaged products, used products will not be eligible for return. If the product is delivered in damaged form, we will take the product back. It can be swapped with a newer one or coupon can be request or refund can be requested.
- Please note that Food products are not eligible for return unless the foods items delivered is out of expiry date or spoiled.

- Once your return request is approved you need to aptly package and ship the product into the mentioned address in their original condition.
- In case you prefer to courier by yourself, please ensure that the product is sent within 7 days on receiving approval for return request. Any product shipped after that period will not be eligible for refund. In case you wish Spiticart to pick up the products, the items for reverse. Products will be picked up within 5-7 business days from the date of request.
- Both onward and return shipping charges will not be refunded. Please note that Spiticart subsidises onward shipping cost for its customers and takes a portion of the cost. Hence during a return, the shipping cost may not match what Spiticart had charged the customer while sending the products initially.
- Please ensure that the returned product is unused, undamaged and is in a saleable condition. We request you to maintain the original packaging of the items to be returned, including the Spiticart tags. Please ensure that all the returned items are packed securely and safely to prevent any loss or damage during transit.
- You can opt for a refund or a credit coupon for future purchases. This needs to be mentioned in your email.
- We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 14 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 20 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at support@spiticart.com
- For Cash on Delivery orders, refund can be done only through Store Credits.
- In case of Cash on Delivery, we will receive the money after 10 to 12 days, after the payment is made by the customer, from the shipping companies. We can initiate refund only after this. Since the shipping companies charge for handling Cash on Deliveries, this will be borne by Spiticart in all the purchases. In case of return, it depends on whether a damaged product is returned or replacement item is requested or undamaged products are returned.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalised items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
